2025 BANK OF AMERICA ROVAL 400

The 2025 Bank of America Roval 400 will take place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. Unlike the oval races at Charlotte, this unique event is run on the Roval configuration, a hybrid layout that combines the high banks of the oval with a technical infield road course.

Yes, several parking lots are located around Charlotte Motor Speedway. Arriving early will help secure a good spot. See our parking guide for more information.

Yes, Concord is one of the loudest tracks in NASCAR due to its high-banked, half-mile layout. Earplugs are strongly recommended for all fans, and essential for children to protect their hearing.

Early October evenings in Concord, North Carolina, are usually warm but more comfortable than summer. Daytime highs are often between 75°F and 85°F (24°C to 29°C), cooling down into the 60s°F (16°C to 21°C) by night. Humidity is moderate, and light jackets or sweatshirts are useful once the sun sets. Rain is less frequent than in August, but showers are still possible, so bringing a light rain jacket or poncho is a good idea.

Although both events are held at Charlotte Motor Speedway, they could not be more different in character. The Coca-Cola 600 is NASCAR’s ultimate test of endurance, the longest race on the calendar at 600 miles and staged on the traditional 1.5-mile oval. It takes place each Memorial Day weekend, beginning in the afternoon and ending under the lights, with a strong patriotic tradition attached to it. The ROVAL 400, by contrast, is part of the NASCAR Playoffs in the fall and is run on the track’s unique “ROVAL” layout, which blends sections of the high-speed oval with a twisting infield road course. Shorter in distance but far more technical, the ROVAL race is known for its unpredictability and dramatic finishes that often decide championship hopes.
